Henson & Murray Engine Rebuilders is a Taupo based engine reconditioning business that has been operating since 1997, specializing in light to heavy diesel, general automotive, motorcycle, marine, industrial & high performance race/street engines.

Brian & Scott have a combined experience of 75 years in engine reconditioning and all our staff are fully qualified except for our very cleaver apprentice. We supply the New Zealand with quality engine reconditioning.     

We are committed to doing the best job possible, meeting the individual needs of each unique project. From the precision needed in the performance race area to the timely manner required to turnaround in an  industrial or commercial application.

Our customers include: Tranzit, Transdiesel, Gough’s, TP Diesel, Cummins NZ Ltd, Parts & Services Ltd, RMD Ltd, Self loader logging,  Lakeland Transport, A&B Equipment, Olsen Group, Lamberts  & Truck Stops - Taupo & Rotorua.  

Henson & Murray have also been official engine re-conditioners of the NZV8 Utes since 2009.

• Raana  Horan with his Nissan VK 6.0 off road trophy truck.
